The ASEAN-Australia Education Dialogue (AAED) supports people-to-people and institutional cooperation through partnerships with a range of ASEAN and Australian education and training institutions. AAED 2024 will be held in Vientiane, the capital city of Lao PDR.

During COVID-19, the AAED Webinar Series 2020-2022 provided opportunities for thought leaders, key government officials, business representatives and education stakeholders from ASEAN and Australia, to continue to share ideas, build connections, and identify new regional opportunities. ​

 

The Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and the Department of Education, Skills (DET) through its representatives based in embassies and high commissions across Southeast Asia are supporting partners of AAED, as are a number of Australian State Government offices across ASEAN. We are also proud to work with the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) Secretariat and the ASEAN University Network (AUN) Secretariat based in Bangkok.
